Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice
MLS United, LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of its websites, platforms, services, and other digital resources to do the same.
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, commonly known as the “DMCA,” MLS United will respond to properly submitted notices alleging that copyrighted material available through an MLS United website or online service has been used without authorization.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
A copyright owner, or a person authorized to act on behalf of a copyright owner, may submit a written notice to MLS United’s designated copyright agent.
The notice should include:
A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or the person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If the notice covers multiple copyrighted works, a representative list may be provided.
Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, along with enough information to allow MLS United to locate the material. A direct webpage address or URL should be included whenever possible.
The reporting party’s name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that the reporting party has a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that the reporting party is the copyright owner or is authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

Submitting false, misleading, or materially inaccurate claims may result in legal liability. Before submitting a notice, the reporting party should consider whether the disputed material may be authorized by law, including applicable fair-use principles.
Response to a Notice
Upon receiving a complete and valid notice, MLS United may:
Remove or disable access to the identified material.
Notify the individual or organization responsible for the material.
Request additional information when the notice is incomplete.
Take other actions considered appropriate under applicable law and MLS United policies.
MLS United reserves the right to remove content that it believes may infringe intellectual-property rights, violate an agreement, or otherwise be inappropriate for its websites or services.
Counter-Notification
A person who believes that material was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification may submit a written counter-notification.
The counter-notification should include:
The person’s physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its location before removal.
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the person has a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification.
The person’s name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States federal district court and agreeing to accept service of process from the party who submitted the original notice or that party’s agent.
Counter-notifications should be sent to the DMCA Designated Agent listed above.
MLS United may restore the material in accordance with applicable law unless the original reporting party provides notice that legal action has been filed seeking to prevent the material from being restored.
Repeat Infringement
When appropriate and within its discretion, MLS United may restrict or terminate access to its websites, systems, or services for users who repeatedly infringe copyrights or other intellectual-property rights.
